Talk: Building smarter apps with Machine Learning, from magic to reality

Q. Tell us a bit about yourself. What are your hobbies and interests?

I’m a developer interested in anything shaping our future. In a previous life, I pioneered the ebook industry, which kept me busy for 17 years. I now focus on cloud technologies, which should keep me busy for the next 20 years 😉

Q. Why did you select this topic for your session at Voxxed Days Bucharest 2019?

Machine learning used to be reserved to experts, but many problems can now be solved by non-experts. My goal is to give an overview of how any developer can benefit from ML right away.

Q. Who should attend your session?

Anyone willing to know how we can integrate machine learning into our solutions, without any knowledge in AI.

Q. What are the key things attendees will take away from your session?

We’ll check out ML APIs and new AutoML techniques. We’ll also test a few features altogether with a live demo. Don’t put your smartphones in airplane mode 😉

Q. Aside from speaking at Voxxed Days Bucharest, what are your other plans for this year?

I’ll also be happy to speak at PyCon SK, Oπe\n Athens, and code.talks Berlin.
