Full-day workshop:

Generative AI

Why this workshop?

From deploying your first Large Language Model (LLM) to exploring fine-tuning techniques and Responsible AI, our workshop covers the A to Z of Generative AI for IT professionals.

Unconference sessions

Why attend this workshop

practical, hands-on experience: with sessions like deploying an AI model using hugging face gradio and creating a chatbot with RAG (retrieval augmented generation), participants will gain skills they can immediately apply to your work.

cutting-edge knowledge: learn about the latest advancements in the field, including quantization, instruction tuning, and overcoming challenges like data leakage and adversarial Machine Learning.

expert guidance: led by seasoned professionals in the AI field, you'll receive insights, tips, and personalized feedback to elevate your understanding and skills.

Who is it for?

any software engineer and IT professional eager to learn more about how to leverage LLM within a company

no background in data-science required

What will you learn?

Deploying a Large Language Model (LLM): Participants will start by deploying their first LLM. They'll learn how to integrate a generative AI model within an application using tools like Hugging Face Gradio, and how to share their work using Hugging Face Spaces (excellent for proto-typing).

ChatGPT API : Participants will learn how to use API access to leverage LLM into their own applications, enhancing the interactivity and functionality of their software projects.

Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): Participants will delve into RAG, learning how to combine LLMs with information retrieval to enhance the model's output. They'll gain hands-on experience in creating a chatbot that can interact with private data and internal documents, using tools like LangChain and LlamaIndex for semantic search and Vector Databases for embeddings.

Fine-Tuning Techniques: This demo will address the debate between fine-tuning and prompt engineering, providing insights into the pros and cons of each approach. Demo on fine-tuning an LLM using the Hugging Face toolbox, in order to enhance an open-sourced model with domain-specific knowledge.

LLMOps and Responsible AI: Finally, participants will gain knowledge in deploying models responsibly and efficiently. This includes using tools like ONNX for model optimization and Azure Containers for deployment, ensuring their AI solutions are both effective and ethically sound.
