Dev^Ops: Raising Devs to the power of OpsKeynote
Your code is valueless until it arrives in production. Your creation has no meaning until it runs. The advent of cloud computing has fundamentally changed the way we build and deliver software. Plus, now that Kubernetes has become the defacto standard for cloud native application architecture involving monoliths, microservices and serverless functions, we have a new and extreme environment for our applications. In this session we will be exploring topics like rolling updates, custom resource definitions (CRDs) with things like Kafka, Istio VirtualServices, advanced rollout/deployment patterns, auto-scale to zero with Knative, source-to-url automated build machinery, where you might be thinking 'that sounds like Ops' and we are going to explore why these skills are critical to becoming a cloud native architect.
Scheduled on Friday from 16:00 to 17:00 in Track 1
